Torlon® Products

Torlon® poly(amide-imide) thermoplastic exhibits exceptional physical and chemical properties. It can withstand continuous exposure at temperatures from 450F to 500F (230C to 260C). Torlon® 4301 and 4203 resins provide better compressive strength and higher deflection temperature than most other high performance thermoplastics. Their low coefficient of thermal expansion and high creep resistance provide excellent dimensional stability over a wide range of temperatures. Chemically, Torlon® resins are resistant to attack by aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated and fluorinated hydrocarbons and most inorganic salts and acid solutions.
